Ducati Monster Black Gold

Ducati Monster Black Gold – I’ve actually been scared to write this article, and every time I think about what I want to say about the Ducati Monster, I end up giving up, afraid that I can’t match my emotions with the words…….the Ducati Monster is a love affair I’ve had since my friend introduced me to one in Florence Italy in 2008. I must admit, it wasn’t love at first site, I was intrigued, confused by what I saw.

Needless to say, my fascination became obsession and it gives me great happiness to know that in the end I have found something perfect. To me, the Ducati Monster is more than just another QN bike, it’s the physical representation of my view on life and what I want to get out of it, the Ducati Monster is not a bike for everybody, but to me, it’s THE dream, THE ideal, THE penultimate bike which I swear was carved especially for me by the Ducati team. I could not make it any more perfect if I wanted to and somehow, that scares the sh*t out of me.

To be so sure about what I want, somehow, gives me great confidence in my actions and THAT is what is so attractive about Ducati, they have never followed the herd, they just did what they wanted to do, and somehow, without trying to appease anybody they became insanely successful.

Let’s face it, Ducati is a brand, which goes above and beyond design in terms of “performance”. In fact, although they are so passionate about their technology and their racing, I think most of us would agree that the true beauty of Ducati is the way their bikes become alive with emotion and character, Ducati motorcycles aren’t machines, they are great big Fire-Breathing-Dragons that you want to tame and control…even though you know you never will.

Riding a motorcycle is a pleasure that I really miss since I sold my Kawasaki Z750 two years ago for economic reasons. Now, I really dream to buy a new bike but I take my time to choose the right one. With a a budget limited to 8000 euros max, the choice is restricted but you can find nice machines like the Triumph Street triple or the Ducati Monster 696. I just took a look at the last one today and it really got my attention. The choice will be hard between this two bikes… No matter.

Ducati Diavel Carbon

Character? How about Bat-man? The $19,995 Ducati Diavel Carbon’s a big pussycat of a motorcycle, but if you didn’t know any better, you wouldn’t think so. I especially enjoy riding it around CW’s new home here in the master-planned (master-bland?) community of Irvine. It really must be a nice place to live, if you like nice.

There’s not a blade of grass out of place, but the truly nice thing about Irvine is there’s nary a pothole or even a rough stretch of pavement to be found, and many of its wide, smooth parkways are laid out in big curves and circles to break up the monotony and (we conjecture) thwart bank robberies. (It’s working: Wikipedia says the FBI reported in 2010 that Irvine had the lowest violent crime rate among cities in the U.S. with population of more than 100,000.)

Ducati Diavel Carbon

Into that suburban Eden cackles the aptly named Diavel, whose stock exhaust system fully complies with all federal and state requirements in the same way that ketchup qualifies as a vegetable. On the Confederate, you might actually feel a twinge of guilt for disturbing the peace along with a little anxiety re: the boredom level of the Irvine P.D. On the marginally more sedate but way less likely to strand you in Irvine Diavel, you’re Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack as you filter to the front at the red lights between the sealed Lexi and Priuses.

The thing idles like a quiet Funny Car, and you find yourself hoping the next light will turn red, too, just so you can blast off again, levering the torque back onto that fat beachball of a rear tire as the relatively lightweight, 498-pound-dry, 1198cc V-Twin uses its 133 horses to skim the front an inch or two off the deck…truly old-fashioned fun.

“Why, you can get any kind of house you want here, you can even get stucco. Oh, boy, can you get stucco!” In fact, stucco is all you can get in Irvine—in several shades of association-approved beige (there are something like 250 HOAs in the city).

The Diavel is a hot-chili-oil gel-cap suppository up the rectum of all that is sedentary and conventional (Rectum? It nearly killed ’um!), and as more than one of us has observed, it’s going to get somebody arrested. Then again, maybe not: For one thing, when you’re riding it, you feel invincible, like the only thing you’re missing is the black cape. And for another, we’re in Irvine, where crime is against the law.

Ducati Diavel Custom

If the summer heat is driving you up the wall, the new Diavel from Ducati can cool you off. The latest model is a high performance bike. Changes have made the machine a more efficient one. The better design provides for reduced effort while driving. The design of the new bike is alluring too.

If you are seriously considering buying a cruiser bikes for yourself, you must consider a few factors before your purchase. The first is your own level of expertise. Bikes are mean machines even if they are not really meant for racing. Since there is a very thin line between top notch bikes and racing bikes, a biker must always ascertain that he or she can handle the power and weight of the machine they choose. While expert riders can go in for superior models, newbies should stick to beginner level models only.

Ducati Diavel

With its Italian authenticity, muscular appearance and seductive agility, the Ducati Diavel quickly became one of the most exciting motorcycles of 2011. Realising that customers no longer wanted to compromise style or comfort, the manufacturer reflected these changes and created a bike that is very long, very low and of course, very dramatic.

Any motorcycle enthusiast will agree that half the fun of owning such an incredible vehicle is the parts and accessories which can be used to enhance performance and make the bike exclusive to their tastes.

There are many features of a motorcycle which can be modified in order to personalise it to an individual riders' taste. With everything from grips, seats, helmets, exhausts and much more, there are plenty of genuine Ducati Diavel accessories out there to help personalise your bike just the way you want it.

Ducati Diavel Blue

The Ducati Diavel Blue is a controversial bike. Because it looked different, people wrote it off before it even became available. However, people should stop to think before they open their mouths about things, because this bike is awesome. It is reasonable affordable at around £16,000 and has 160 break horsepower. It has a top speed of 155 miles per hour, which is seriously impressive - after all, there is no chance you will ever do that speed in the United Kingdom right? Its 0-60 range is unbelievable and this bike will pass you before you can even see it. It is, quite simply, an awesome bike.

Ducati Streetfighter 2012

As motorcycles go, the recent Ducati Streetfighter, idea of Ducati designer Damien Bassett is another champ for the Italian company situated in Bologna and it's starting to live up to its designation. Damien headed this project, thought of the idea and came up with the Streetfighter, just more than a year ago.

This streetfighter isn't, in spite of what several criticizers assert, a modified 1098 bike - far from it. The streetfighter is a brand fresh motor cycle which does not possess so many of the sections that compose the aforementioned motorcycle. It does possess the savage force of a Superbike, it's been praised by motorbike reviewers as being the unsurpassed naked-chassis motor cycle to arrive onto the road u to date.

At the time of publication, there happened to be 2 brands of the streetfighter being sold; the a dearer kind, S Version as well as the Standard kind. The S Version boasts of upgrades like forged aluminium Marchesini wheels; Ohlin suspension; not to forget Ducati Traffic Control - DTC and Ducati Data Analyzer - DDA yet as unrealistic as it looks, despite all these bundled upgrades, it weighs just above 4lbs less compared to the base make.

Motorcycle mags researchers do forecast the value of the S Version starting to go down thus possible riders should be on the Ducati agent expecting file as soon as possible.

Ducati Monster 2014

the bike which saved Ducati in troubled times the Ducati Monster was first launched in 1993 to critical acclaim. Sharing parts from several model ranges it took the frame from the 916 family, married to a carburetted aircooled engine ranging from the M400 through to the M900 (M400, M600, M750, M900). With bodywork designed by Miguel Angel Galluzzi it was an instant hit with its back to basics design remit, light weight, sportsbike handling and awesome exhaust note.

Early in 2000 Ducati added fuel injection to the M900 and in 2001 shoehorned the watercooled 916 engine from the 916 superbike into the Monster creating the S4, a brutally fast and fun naked bike. Adding premium components from the likes of Brembo, Marchesini, Showa and other manufacturers they created a bike which would become legendary for it's versatility and ability.

In 2005 it was all change again with the retirement of the famous 916 powerplant, only for the engine to be replaced with the Testastretta engine from the 999 Superbike creating the top of the range S4R. Adorned with Ohlins suspension, Marchesini alloy wheels and radial brakes it took the performance and handling of the Monster to the next level. At the same time coinciding with an all new engine range for the Super Sport range the Monster inherited the all new 2 valve 800 and 1000 engines becoming the S2R 800 and S2R 1000 respectively, although, it could be argued that the term "all-new" is incorrect as the engines were modified 750cc and 900cc powerplants from the Supersport ranges.

Moving to the current Monster Range, there are three models: the 696, 1100, and 1100S. The Monster 696 was announced in November 2007 and officially launched early April 2008 in Barcelona. The Monster 1100 was announced in September 2008. Based on the Monster 696, it comes with a larger 1078 cc engine, a single sided swingarm, radial brake calipers, larger diameter forks and taller suspension. The 1100 "S" model features fully adjustable Öhlins suspension components, a different colour scheme and aluminium brake disc carriers reducing weight. All models have been praised by the press and public alike, and in what is quite a rare achievement actually take the best of the older models and improve upon them both technically and aesthetically.
